We are partnering with Brimes Energy and The European Marine Energy Center, to produce hydrogen using wave energy converted to electricity by Brimes Jellyfish, and ocean water from the North Sea.
This will power fuel cell ferries in the Orkney Islands.
The benefits are:
- Lowered Operating costs to continuously create electricity
- Higher yields of hydrogen from seawater feedstock
- Lowest possible cost for produced hydrogen
